Companions: pick one, or let everyone choose who they'd like to do.

Colors: you did red already, so you could choose another.

Texture: assign a texture or just let everyone choose their own.

Negative space

Favorite doctor, or assign a specific doctor.

Assign a specific villain/enemy, like the Daleks, or the Master, or the Cybermen, etc.

Weather: the icons must have something weather related in them.

IDK, just spitballing here. I haven't actually participated since challenge one due to lack of time, but I'm still lurking.

ETA:

Hats (inspired by something I just saw in another fandom), or you could do scarves or some other article of clothing.

there is a challenge I saw a while ago that I liked in a 20in20 comm for OUAT, and I was going to use in my comm at some stage in the future. But them theme basically is cast/recast, and I think it will work wonderfully here especially with everyone having different ideas on who the 12th Doctor should be.

You can ask everyone to make icons featuring different actors/actresses that they think will make a good future Doctor.

Accessories - We all know both the Doctor and the Companions love them.

B&W challenge - IMO it's harder to work without colors (specially with some very colorful doctors, lol) so I think I'd make a nice challenge.

Alien - there needs to be something alien in the icon

Past/Future - either separate or together as one theme.

I also loved the recast idea.

Landscape challenge - DW has some really nice landscapes that could be fun to icon.

Crossover - the icon must be a crossover with another show
