Day Ⅰ: Who Wishes

Surprise, it's a requesting activity!

How it works:

You make a wish for an icon (100x100px), a land-community sig-tag (300x150px), a small profile banner (540px max) or a "friends only" banner (under 540px) and your fairy-god-mod will (try her best) to fill it by January 16th 2018.


All request items will be still (not animated) I cannot create animations very well, unless you would like an icon with fake snow.

There are two ways to request.

If your request is for something from the Twelfth Doctor era, you may request using the character name & season option without including pictures.
If your request is for any other Doctor Who era then you will have to leave me the pictures to use for your wish. I don't have very many screen caps saved on my laptop except for series eight through ten (new era).

One request is allowed per person.
Requests close on December 31st.

Please note, requests are only for members, watchers or subscribers of Dwstills (LJ or dreamwidth).

Comments are not screened for members, if any one else here would like to help fill requests you may do so at any time. However, please don't feel pressure to fill wishes, I will do my best to fill all the wishes by the date above.
If there are no wishes at the end, that is okay too, don't feel any pressure to leave a request if you're not interested.

Hi, I'm sorry, I'm sort of confused by your wish. Would you like me to make a photo manip and put red & white classic Santa hats on those characters or do you want them in the Christmas hats they wore in the episodes? Bill wore a Christmas paper crown, Nardole wore a winter knitted cap.

Also, since I won't be filling this yet and Christmas is over, would you still like this wish or a different wish? You can change it up until the requests close on January 6th 2018.

Now that I read this, perhaps your suggestion is better. So an icon with Bill in the pink crown, Nardole in his cap, and Twelve in a Santa hat (although w/ his S10 poofy hair that I adore, perhaps the Santa hat might not fit!) or a Christmas-themed scarf (I like blue, silver, gold, white, but am not that fond of the red and green combo). Does that sound doable?

The fact that the 1st few days of Christmas-tide have passed is not a deal-breaker. :)

Well, I found this picture it's from Children in Need so it's the actors, but would you like an icon of this or is Pudsey Bear too annoying?


I can definitely make you a Bill & Nardole one, but I'm sorry I'm not skilled at doing those hat Santa manipulations or clothing manips either, I never really practiced. I'm not a great manipulator (of images).
But really, Twelve is a minimalist he wouldn't like Santa hats and certainly he doesn't like silly scarves I've never seen him wear one. 😄
But I'm sorry to fail as a fairygod mod, maybe you can find some graphics like that on tumblr? I've seen some for SPN around LJ lately.

Can I use private pictures (with me on the picture) taken in the Doctor Who Experience to request a banner? (It's okay if it's not allowed. But I thought I'd better ask first before doing something wrong here. ^^)

I don't know, I need to think about it. What if you don't like how I edit the pictures and how you look in my edits? I always edit screencaps of people I'll never talk to or meet so I can do whatever I want to with their photos and they can't complain, well they could but they'd have to contact me. LOL

What do you think about me editing your photos of yourself? Do you trust me? I can definitely do pictures that you took of the displays or other things but I don't know about real people, I'll think about it.

I'll check back and see what you think but don't worry about the deadline, there is still time, I extended the wishing period, you can change it up until the requests close on January 6th 2018.
