October is known to many on Interwebs as Inktober so for this challenge your icons should be inspired by the artwork seen on the Doctor Who comic book covers posted below. You may use anything from the color scheme to the composition of the illustrations to inspire your icons.
I haven't read any Doctor Who comics yet, so I don't know what stories were inside, hopefully they spark your creativity regardless of my fan-failing.

Behind the cut are 21 covers (all are clickable thumbnails not resized larger images).

You may use one cover to make multiple icons or use a different cover for each one of your icons.




If you want to look behind this spoiler cut, there are a few examples of how the covers could be made into icons. I know it's easier said than done.

Another option is to find a similar screen cap or photo to the one that was a reference for the original artwork, and try to emulate the artwork or recreate it using the screen cap.
